Atlantic Harmonies Studio
Bailey Smith
Bailey Smith is a private music studio owner from Wells, Maine where she teaches private lessons and directs three levels of community choir. Bailey studied Vocal Performance at Berklee College of Music and also holds a Behavioral Health Science degree. Along with teaching, Bailey is the music director for a local church, works annually with the Macy's Great American Marching Band for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and is a music judge for the Massachusetts Judges' Association. Bailey enjoys performing in her local community, taking part in regional theatre, and is a proud DCINY alumni!
Representing Atlantic Harmonies Studio from Wells, Maine are our highly accomplished high school choir and private vocal lesson members. Atlantic Harmonies Studio strives to provide a comprehensive music education, tailored to meet individual students' goals, with ample opportunities for performance and enrichment.

Keiki Kani Choir
Camilla Corpuz Yamamoto
CAMILLA CORPUZ YAMAMOTO is the Owner-Director of Keiki Kani Music Studio. Teaching for over 40 years, Camilla has directed many choirs and musical productions in Hawaii for music studios, private schools, and the Hawaii State Department of Education. Camilla is Kodaly Certified and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Hawaii. A church musician since age 11, she enjoys arranging music for her many piano-vocal ensembles. Camilla also served on the Executive Boards of the Honolulu Piano Teachers Association and the Hawaii Music Educators Association-National Association for Music Education for many years.
The KEIKI KANI CHOIR is an amateur performing group comprised of public and private school children, college students, and community singers from all over Oahu, Hawaii. The KEIKI KANI CHOIR has performed at public and private events all over Oahu, and on local radio and television shows. In addition, the KEIKI KANI CHOIR has been featured on Professional Recordings since 1991. Recently, the KEIKI KANI CHOIR sang for the Harlem Globetrotters and the Gandhi Worldwide Peace and Aloha Festival. KEIKI KANI is honored to represent Hawaii at DCINY’s Total Vocal at Carnegie Hall in April 2022.

Chamber Singers International
Katherine Girvin
A native of San Diego, Katherine attended the University of Missouri, Columbia where she received a Bachelors of Art and Science (2004), a Bachelors of Science in Middle School Education (2005) and a Masters in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction (2006). Katherine has been teaching choral education for fourteen years and has been named Choral Educator of the Year by California Music Educator Association Southern Border division (2012) and in the same year received the Mackenzie-Haney award, an Outstanding Choral Educator Award voted on by her colleagues throughout the San Diego Unified School District. Katherine became head of the choral department at NYU Shanghai in 2019 where she teaches currently. Some of her directing highlights include St. Peter’s Basilica, Carnegie Hall, Harpa Concert Hall, and the Sydney Opera House. Katherine spent the three years in educational leadership and is thrilled to now be working with the NYU Shanghai choral community.
This Ensemble is comprised of students from both the United States and China. Having all been directed by Katherine Girvin in different countries and continents, these students are singing together for the first time in Carnegie Hall.

Edwardsville High School Choirs
Emily Ottwein
Emily Ottwein holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, a Master of Music in both Choral Conducting and Vocal Performance, and a Vocal Pedagogy Certification from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Accomplished in many styles of singing, Ms. Ottwein has performed throughout the area as a featured concert soloist. She has been an adjudicator in vocal competitions and conductor for various choral festivals. She has also served as adjunct faculty in the music departments at Southern Illinois Universities. She is passionate about the choral art form and about encouraging others to be a part of the magic of corporate singing.
The Edwardsville High School Choral program consists of three curricular choirs: Concert Choir I, for entry level singers; Concert Choir II, for auditioned sophomores through seniors; and Chamber Singers, a small, auditioned group of fifteen to twenty members. In addition, there are two extra-curricular groups: Bel Canto, an auditioned treble choir, and AcaFellaz, an auditioned bass choir. The students performing this weekend are singers from Concert Choir II and the Chamber Singers.

Face Academy of Music
Cody Qualls, Artistic Director; Stephen Ross, Musical Director

Cody Qualls is an internationally recognized vocalist and award winning songwriter from Louisville, CO. Cody currently composes and tours as lead tenor with the world-renowned all-vocal rock band, Face Vocal Band. He is the founder of Rock Choir Colorado and the director Face Academy of Music. More at codyqualls.com. Stephen Ross is the music director, arranger, and countertenor for Face Vocal Band. He is an award-winning choral conductor who currently directs the 150 voice Coal Creek Community Chorus in Louisville, CO. Stephen is highly sought after for a cappella arrangements, having created custom pieces for vocal groups around the world.

Face Academy of Music was founded in 2003 by Face Vocal Band, whose members are active educators in the a cappella and choral community, and serves over 400 students every trimester. In 2019 alone, Face toured the world extensively while simultaneously raising funds for music education, and has taken our Face Academy of Music students to perform with them on many of the most sought after stages; from TEDx and Red Rocks Amphitheater, all the way to Samara, Costa Rica. Through a variety of outlets, including choirs, ensembles, and songwriting/production, members of FAM learn the skills to grow through music.
