Coro de la Comunidad Guatemalteca
Juliana O’Connor, Heber Morales, Betty Whitbeck
The Messiah Project in Guatemala started in 2004 by the Whitbeck family due to their love of the music and a desire to raise funds to help under-privileged children in Guatemala. It has been a great success and has made a worthwhile contribution to Guatemala. The Community Choir of Guatemala was formed and a program consisting of Part 1 of Handel's Messiah as well as a selection of favorite Christmas carols has been presented for the last ten years. Soloists come from the United States and they donate their time and talent to the project. This year the chorus consists of 90 voices and concerts are scheduled for December 9 in the National Theatre in Guatemala City and December 10 in the colonial city of La Antigua, Guatemala.

Milwaukee Area Messiah Community Chorus
Brian E. Dearing
The Milwaukee Area Messiah Community Chorus and Orchestra, Inc. (“MAMCCO”) is an ecumenical choir and orchestra formed for the purpose of enriching the lives of the residents of the Greater Milwaukee area by spreading God’s Word through music. Founded in 2009, the group, made up almost entirely of local volunteers, is in its fifth year presenting Handel’s Messiah at no cost to the audience. From its humble beginnings, MAMCCO has grown in dedication, size and strength to feature a talented chorus of 100 singers from 37 area churches, four soloists and a 19-piece orchestra.  At each presentation, MAMCCO offers the audience the opportunity to respond by collecting a voluntary donation for a charity to be designated by MAMCCO.

Trinity International Concert Choir
Jerrode Baker Marsh
Trinity International Concert Choir (TICC) took root in the early spring of 2010, initially known as the “Messiah Project.” The goal of this initial project was to bring interested singers of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds together under the umbrella of sacred choral music, culminating in two complete performances of Handel’s Messiah on Pentecost weekend of 2011, in Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. The overwhelming success of the concerts motivated the members to form a new official international concert choir in Frankfurt. The choir takes its name from its hosting congregation, Trinity Lutheran Church, an international, English-speaking congregation in Frankfurt.
