Chris Munce
Chris Munce is an accomplished choral performer, conductor, educator, clinican and arts adminsitrator. As a performer he is a member of Kantorei of Kansas City, as well as its Founder and Artistic Director. He has also performed with the Simon Carrington Chamber Singers, and the Grammy Winning Kansas City Chorale. Chris was fortunate to be a part of the Chorale's Grammy Nominated album, "Rheinberger: Sacred Choral Works," as well as Simon Carrington's "Juxtapositions." Most recently, Kantorei completed recording the Christmas Album "Sweet Was the Song," and is preparing to release an album on the Resonus Classics Label. Chris received a Bachelor's of Music Education and a Master's Degree in Choral Conducting from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance. His graduate research focus was the performance practice of early Baroque choral singing in the French and Italian styles. Chris has studied with Eph Eely, Charles Robinson, Ryan Board, William Dehning, Peter Bagley and Jerry McCoy. He also served as adjunct faculty at the Conservatory teaching choral arranging, and at Blue River Community College as a professor of voice. Chris currently serves as the President of Conservatory's Alumni Board of Directors. Chris is now teaching at Lee's Summit High School as the Director of Choral Studies where his premier ensemble "Sounds of Summit" has recently performed at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC and on a Masterclass with the multiple Grammy Award winning vocal group Chanticleer. Chris is also Director of Music at Central United Methodist Church in Kansas City, where he directs the the Choir and leads the diverse music program. He has been an active private voice instructor since 1999. Thank you to Associate Director Jacob Lowry.
The Concert Choir is the flagship ensemble of Lee's Summit High's storied choral program. A tradition of choral excellence that extends back over 100 years, the LSHS choral program engages over 370 singers grades 9-12. The Concert Choir is an auditioned ensemble of students grades 10-12.

Khorikos
Alec Galambos
Alec Galambos is an NYC-based composer and conductor for multimedia and concert projects. After growing up on piano and choral music, he studied composition at Emory University and then moved to New York to pursue a M.M. degree in Composition and Film Scoring at NYU. He has since recorded scores for independent features, documentaries, nationwide advertising campaigns, and video games, and has created and conducted arrangements and original works for KHORIKOS and ensembles across the country. Alec has served as an assistant conductor of KHORIKOS since 2011 and is honored to lead the group in performances throughout the city.
Khorikos is one of New York City’s most distinguished a cappella ensembles, performing a wide range of music from medieval polyphony to contemporary sound sculpture. The ensemble aims to reinvent the age-old art form of choral music by engaging in unique collaborations with artists of other genres, including film and dance, and by performing in traditional and nontraditional venues. KHORIKOS performances have been described as other-worldly, powerful, and cutting-edge. Khorikos is a project of Dorian Artists Corporation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
