One World: The Music of Sir Karl Jenkins
DCINY Proudly opens their 2025 season with the annual performance of "The Music of Sir Karl Jenkins", featuring the North American Premiere of Sir Jenkins's One World, complimented by his beloved Gloria. Conductor Jonathan Griffith will lead singers from around the globe with the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and renowned soloists. Sir Karl Jenkins joins as composer-in-residence along with WQXR Radio Personalist and Host Elliott Forrest. Sir Jenkins in a Welsh musician whose music has been performed and celebrated around the world; he is a member of Classic FM's "Ultimate Hall of Fame", and was awarded Knighthood in the 2015 Queen's Birthday Honours for his contributions to classical music worldwide.
